En semesterlayout

När vi var på semester för ett par veckor sedan besökte vi ett otroligt vackert ställe, Hyltenäs Kulle. Utsikten var fantastiskt fin, och jag tog massa foton därifrån. Jag ville få med så många foton som möjligt från platsen, och låta utsikten stå i fokus. Jag lyckades hitta ett par filmstrippar i gömmorna. Layoutens form har jag hämtat från resterna av en springbrunn som fanns på platsen. Så fort jag såg den visste jag att det skulle bli en layout med den formen.

When we were on vacation a couple of weeks ago, we visited an enormously beautiful sight, Hyltenäs Hill. The view was extraordinary and I took loads of pictutes. I wanted as many as possible on this layout, so I went through my stash and found these film strips I've had like forever... The shape of the layout is inspired by the remains of an old fountain. The minute I saw it I decided to make a layout in this shape with the pictures from that place.


Det fanns en väldigt intressant historia om platsen också, och jag googlade och skrev ut informationen, vek ihop lappen och stoppade den bakom fotot tillsammans med journalingen.

There's some very interesting history about this place, and I looked it up on the internet, printed the story, folded the paper and tucked it in behind the photo with my journaling.

Jag hade en mycket bra postdag igår. Dels dök mitt första månadskit från the Nook upp, och dels fick jag min Word Window Punch, och jag har bara börjat klura på vad man kan göra med den. Jag har använt den till fliken på min journaling spot här, och det blev så bra! Jag gillar verkligen min nya leksak :-)

Yesterday was a very good mail-day for me. I got my first gorgeous kit from the Nook, and I got my Word Window Punch ♥. There are so many great things you can do with it! I used it to make the hole in the tab of my journaling spot at this layout. Love it!!

2 sketches 4 you v.30

Nu är vi tillbaka från en veckas semester i de västra delarna av landet. Vi har bott på lantgård strax utanför Horred i Västergötland, och haft det otroligt härligt!
We're back from our holiday! We have been staying at a farm just outside Horred in Västergötland, and we've had a wonderful week.

Jag har gjort ett litet kort, så här i sista sekunden, till Kazans skiss på 2 sketches 4 you. Det fick bli väldigt enkelt, för jag har haft massa annat att göra i kväll, med tvätt och uppackning och sånt, men jag hann i alla fall :-) (hoppas jag) Jag gillar verkligen de här skisserna!

Here's my take at Kazan's sketch at 2 sketches 4 you, in the nick of time (or at least, I hope I'm not too late). Since I had a million other things to do tonight I made it quite simple this time to get it done in time. I really love these sketches!

Jag glömde nästan... jag vann ju en av utmaningarna jag deltog i på croppen på the Nook, såg jag nu när jag kom hem. :-) Det var med journalinglayouten här nedanför. Så nu får jag snart hem lite godis därifrån. Gissa om jag är glad!!!!!!

I almost forgot to tell you... I won one of the challenges at the VC at the Nook!!!! Guess if I was happy, and surprised, to get home and find out about that... :-) It was the journaling challenge with the layout here below. So now some candy is heading my way. I can't wait...
