It's definitely time...

...to do something about this badly neglected blog. Yes, I know I've been a bad, bad blogger, but I've been a good student it seems, because the last time I checked the scores at NookU I was in second place!!!! Can you believe that? Me?

OK, this first layout is for history class. It's a special heirloom of ours, the beautiful Christening Gown which almost everyone in my family have been christened in. There is an old item on it, the button in the centre of the ribbon flower, which is from my grandmother's stash. I really love that button, and I've been saving it for a special occasion, and I think this layout is it. It's me on the pic, btw, back in 1973, and the layout is photographed with the actual gown for background. You can even see my name embroidered on it in the lower left corner.

This layout is for Science class. I got my new Maya Road Chipboards, and I had to try them at once. I scored 10 points with this one :)

This one gave me 10 points too. It's for economics class, and I've made it on top of a Hambly Overlay, which I've handstitched aroud the edge. It's a real contrast to what I normally do, but sometimes it's fun to be a little wild and crazy...

And then for Extra Credit History - a title of a Michael Jackson song. Emma really does look bad on this one, doesn't she?

So, I finished all the cores for last week in good time, and then I've been cybercropping at Mon Ame Memories for the rest of the weekend. I managed to actually win a prize there! And Sofia, my good friend and codesigner at Katscrap also won one of the challenges. I promise, I won't be that late with showing you what I did there...
