Two new layouts!

First up is our little diva. She loves to dress up and wear loads of jewellery. I don't think this layout needs any journalling. The picture speaks for itself...

Here she is again, our little one. These photos were taken last summer, when we were on a road trip, and stopped at a rest stop where they had a little petting zoo with some awfully cute little goats. Agnes fell head over heels in love with the goats, especially a black little baby goat, the one she's all over in the picture. I wouldn't be surprised if she ended up as a vet some day, because she loves animals deeply, and they love her too.
Thanks for stopping by!

An altered photo frame

I made this little photo frame for Agnes' room a while ago. I just remembered that I haven't shown it here on the blog yet. I took a wooden frame, painted it white with a little shabby look, and then I decorated it with Melissa Frances resin flowers, Prima flowers and Say it in chrystal swirls. This frame is absolutely perfect for the princess' room :-)

Getting ready for spring

We're getting ready for spring here, and it's so nice when you finally can get out in the garden and start getting the flowerbeds and kitchen garden ready. As one of my Zutter projects this months I decided to make a little garden diary, with room for notes about where I planted what, progress, things to do etc.
It's divided into different parts. This is the part where I'm writing about my kitchen garden.
And here's a sketch of what I want it to look like. This is what it looke like last year too, but then everything got ruined by thistles popping up everywhere. You see, there were a few thistles, annoying but manageable, until someone ran over the entire patch with a rotary cultivator before I got a chance to clear out those thistles. The result: tiny pieces of thistle roots everywhere, of course, and they were popping up like crazy! I cleared the entire patch once, but no more than two days later, it was full of tiny thistles again. I did the same procedure twice more, but then I gave up, because there was no way I was able to keep up with those horrible thistles. I don't know what will become of it this year though. I'm still thinking of a solution, but in the meantime, this is what I hope and wish it will look like this year.I also made this little thingy to hang the book on. The hooks are actually pieces of 1" Zutter Owire that I have attatched with Zutter Rivets. The hanger itself is made from a piece of Zutter Clipboard cover that I've cut down to size 4X8"
Here you can see how I fastened the hooks. I carved a little sinkage for each hook, bent the ends of the wires slightly to fit over the rivet and keep them in place and then I hammered them in.
And then I realized I need to have somwhere to cultivate my little seedings, so I made a greenhouse from Zutter clear acrylic covers which I put togetther using Glossy accents, Rivets and owire, to make half the roof openable.
We have tried growing garden cress in it, on a sunny windowsill, and it grew like crazy, but then someone (me) forgot to water it the day before the photo session, so this half sad little ivy had to model instead. But at least, I know it's fully functionable.

3 cards

This week's challenge over at Hildas Rum was to make three cards that belong together somehow. Well, these three belong together in many ways - the same line of papers, similar embellishments, similar style, only different shapes. Well, Graphic 45 papers here too... bear with me, please, I just cant seem to let these papers go!

I built a house again...

It's been a long time since I built a house now, so I figured it was about time for that. It's a little bird house with papers from Graphic 45, and loads of the cute little Prima roses.
I've used my Fiskars Treading Water punch to make long strips, which I've distressed and rolled between my fingers to bend the edge a bit upward, and then I've layered them to make the roof. And no birdhouse is complete without a bird, so I've used a chipboard bird from Maya Road, which I've covered with G 45 papers. The house is going to sit on a shelf in my hall, and next to it, I'm planning to hang this mobile, also made from Graphic 45 papers, tags and loads of different embellies.

Happy Friday night to all of you, and thank's for stopping by.

Another update

I have a couple of layouts to share today too. I made these at a crop I went to a couple of weeks ago. The first one is of my boy. He's not too keen on having to put up with my camera all the time, so he's goofing around a lot when I bring it out. But then, once in a while, I'm able to get a decent shot of him, and this is one of those.
And this is what my baby girl looks like when she wants to kiss someone. This photo was really bad, grainy, dark and a little blurred, but I worked with it in photoshop, and turned it black and white, and eventually it turned out OK anyway. I'm so happy about that, because I really wanted to scrap this one. I think she looks adorable!
Look at these cute little roses! They're made from some sort of clay, and I think I got them from a swap or something like that, and then I forgot all about them until now.
Bye for now!

Ooops...

It's been a while since I updated this poor blog. I've been really busy with finishing up last month's Bind-It-All projects (which I will show you in a day or two) and create some stuff for a DT-call that I just cant help myself from submitting to, even though I know I haven't got a chance there. I've also had loads of stuff to do at work and around the house. However, here are a couple of layouts that I've made lately and haven't shown yet. It's some seriously girly stuff.

This is my little princess, just a couple of weeks old. She turns three in just a few months, and I can't believe how time's flown away.

Here she is again, the little one. I made this layout for a contest at Hildas rum, and believe it or not, I won that contest :-) I've used my brand new Chandelier alpha on this one, and it's so cute! I'm really happy I bought it.
