Happy Halloween!

Ahoy Matey!
Both the sail and the boat itself opens up to reval photos and journaling.
Isn't this little skull charm cute? Actually, my DS wore it in a chain around his neck to the party, and it's a piece of that chain that I've used to attach it to the album
That's all for now. I have to get out in the horrible weather here to do some shopping, and I'm not looking forward to it. It's freezing cold, rainy and windy... Perfect weather to stay in and scrap, in other words. I wish I could do that, but then there would be nothing to eat in the house in a day or two.

Think Inside The Box!
The pictures are from a walk with the kids here in Bräkne-Hoby when the fall colors were at their peak. I love how the sun shines through the maple on the left photo. And the kids really enjoy playing in the leaves.
I also managed to sneak in a little poem about fall.
I have to admit, I did play around in Photoshop to make the fall colors deeper and more vibrant, to match the papers even better. I can't seem to print a single photo without editing it first, and when I look through all the pictures I had developed BP (before photoshop, and before photo printer) they all look so dull... I have hundreds of them, but I can't bring myself to using them... And I just have to show you my little model wannabe who jumped straight into the photoshoot... That's our Lisa, the nosy little thing who always wants to be in the centre of attention. Well, she didn't really jump in for a chance to be caught on camera. I had put a table cloth on one of our garden benches to take these pictures, and she probably thought "Oh, goodie, there's something soft and cuddly to sleep on! I have to check it out!" Is't she the cutest? And I'm proud to say that my gallery at Zutter Zisters is up, this project, and a couple more, is in it, and you simply have to run over there to check out what my creative DT-zisters have been up to this month. There are som really fab projects in there!

Laura's sketch 11
I can't get enough of these Eva papers! At first I thought they weren't really my style at all, but now that I have them, I love them!

Cybercrop
This is for a sketch challenge, and I decided to scrap a few pirate photos of Albin. I've used up a bunch of old papers, and that's always nice :) Isn't he a cool little pirate?
The next one is for a challenge where you were supposed to scrap about a fall journey. I made this layout about the journey I always make into fall. I brought my camera for a walk with the kids earlier today, and the sun came out of the clouds just as I passed this beautiful maple tree. Speaking of beautiful, these BG Granola papers are just amazing, don't you think?

Cutie!
You know, sometimes you see a photo that you just have to scrap. This is one of them. I took it last saturday, of my friends' little girl, and isn't this the cutest little face you have ever seen? Look at those eyes, and that smile! She's adorable this little one. And I know her mum wants to scrap the picture I took right after this one, of this little face buried in the biggest hamburger you've ever seen *LOL*, so I took the liberty to make something of this one. Jeanette, do you have room in their albums? It seems like the pile I have here for them is growing steadily... ;-)
And please excuse the poor quality of the photo. It's really cloudy here today, so it's difficult to get a good shot.
October Kit Card

Daisy Bucket stuff for Katscrap
I've made some DT stuff for Katscrap, with wonderful Daisy Bucket papers and some stamps from the shop. I've been supposed to blog this for about a week now, but you know how it is - the days just seem to fly by, and all of a sudden, another week has come and gone.
On this card I've used two of Katja's flower stamps and a grungeboard key.
Here's another card with one of the flower stamps. And a card with a LottaR-stamp.
I got a chipboard house album with this kit, and I've used one of the pages to build the little house on this card. I've covered it with patterned paper and the roof is made from Bazzil cut with scalloped scissors. Oh, and the tulle ribbon behind the flower - isn't it cool? I have to get more of that...
The rest of the album I made into this little mini with sentiments about a home. That's all for now, and I'm getting back to my secret project...

Nook U-layouts
The photo was taken when I was fifteen and graduated from nineth grade, and I've written about how everyone wanted to stay that age forever, and how priviliged I feel to be working with kids that age, who never make me forget what it's like to be that young.
I've used thickers for the title, but they were the wrong colour, so I sanded them slightly, sprayed them with brown and golden mist, and covered them with glossy accent. Before the glossy accent was completely dry I sprayed another coat of golden mist, allowing the gold to sink in a little in the glossy accent. That gave the letters a really cool effect. I've also used a little golden mist on the brown cardstock. I really love my mists, can't imagine how on earth I could live without them...
The second layout had to have a title in a foreign language. I could have gone with English, but I decided to make it a little more difficult, use a French title and make this layout about a journey I made in France when I was 17. The title means "a story about an old goat", and, well, it's a long story to tell, so I won't bore you with that one. I've studied French for quite a few years, but since I don't use it that much anymore, I've lost so much of it, which is a shame, because it's probably the most beautiful language in our world. Here's a little detail that turned out pretty OK. This layout was so much fun to make, and it brought back quite a few memories from this journey. I feel like getting more of those photos developed and scrap more of the journey before all my memories are lost. It was, after all, so many years ago...
